Cruise port transfers from Civitavecchia to Rome, Fiumicino and airports.
Civitavecchia (also known as Rome's cruise port) is located 80 km north-west of Rome city centre. It is Italy's largest passenger port and the primary embarkation/disembarkation point for Mediterranean cruises calling at Rome. Major cruise lines including MSC, Costa, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Princess Cruises operate from Civitavecchia.
There is no direct rail connection from Civitavecchia port pier to Rome — passengers must first reach Civitavecchia train station (2 km from the port, typically by taxi or shuttle), then take a regional train to Roma Termini (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes total). A direct private transfer from pier to Rome hotel or airport is significantly faster and more convenient, especially with luggage.

Your driver will meet you at the designated passenger exit of your cruise terminal pier. Civitavecchia has multiple piers (Molo Vespucci, Molo Cristoforo Colombo, Darsena Traghetti). At booking, specify your ship name and cruise line — we will confirm the exact pier and meeting point details. Your driver will hold a name board at the passenger exit.
For disembarkation transfers, we monitor your vessel arrival status. If your ship is delayed, the driver's arrival time is adjusted. You will receive driver contact details and real-time updates via WhatsApp.
