Professional airport transfers to and from Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino.
Fiumicino Airport — officially Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (IATA: FCO) — is Rome's main international hub, located 30 km south-west of the city centre. It handles over 40 million passengers per year across four terminals (T1, T2, T3 and the dedicated domestic T4). For most international travellers, arrivals are handled through Terminal 3.
A private transfer from Fiumicino to Rome city centre takes between 35 and 60 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Early morning departures (05:00–07:00) and late-night transfers (22:00–01:00) are typically the fastest. Rush hour windows (08:00–10:00 and 17:00–19:30) can add 20–30 minutes to the journey time.
| Vehicle Class | Passengers | FCO → Rome Centre | FCO → Vatican / Trastevere |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Sedan | 1–3 | from €45 | from €50 |
| Business Class | 1–4 | from €65 | from €70 |
| Business Van | 1–6 | from €85 | from €90 |
| Large People Carrier | up to 16 | from €150 | from €160 |
All prices are fixed and confirmed at the time of booking. There are no hidden charges, no tolls added post-journey and no surge pricing during peak hours or public holidays.
Ciampino Airport (IATA: CIA) is Rome's secondary airport, located 15 km south-east of the city centre. It primarily serves low-cost carriers including Ryanair, Wizzair and easyJet. The airport is compact — a single terminal — which means passengers are through arrivals and ready for pickup quickly.
Transfer time from Ciampino to Rome city centre is typically 25–40 minutes. Ciampino is closer to the GRA ring road than Fiumicino, making it faster to reach most areas of Rome (Termini, Colosseo, Trastevere, EUR).
| Vehicle Class | Passengers | CIA → Rome Centre |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Sedan | 1–3 | from €35 |
| Business Class | 1–4 | from €55 |
| Business Van | 1–6 | from €75 |
For Terminal 3 (international arrivals), your driver will be waiting at the exit of the arrivals hall, beyond customs, holding a sign with your name. This is the designated chauffeur meeting area for all NCC (Noleggio con Conducente) licensed drivers.
For Terminal 1 (Schengen/domestic arrivals), the meeting point is at the exit of the baggage claim area. Exact meeting point instructions are included in your booking confirmation email and sent via WhatsApp 1 hour before pickup.
If you have trouble locating your driver, you will receive a direct contact number to call. Drivers wait for up to 60 minutes after the scheduled pickup time at no extra charge.
Ciampino has a single terminal. Your driver waits at the arrivals exit holding a name board. The Ciampino arrivals hall is compact, so the driver is typically visible immediately upon exiting. You will receive the driver's direct number in your booking confirmation.
